IABR-

On April 11, at the Festival Città Impresa NUOVI ALFABETI PER L’ECONOMIA in Schio in the Italian Veneto, the symposium Unconscious Metropolis will feature three European urban landscapes: BrabantStad, West Flanders an the Veneto Centrale. These are natural and productive ecosystems that have a lot in common. What strategies and development models do they propose to re-activate the urban landscape in times of economic crisis and political change?

With Yves de Boer (Province of North-Brabant, The Neherlands), Freek Persyn (51N4E, Brussels), Joachim Declerck (Architecture Workroom Brussels, IABR–2014–Project Atelier BrabantStad), George Brugmans (IABR), and Silva Fattore and Giovanni Piovene (Atelier Veneto Centrale that has been selected for the main exhibition of IABR–2014–URBAN BY NATURE–).
