Designing with Sediment in the Rhine-Meuse Estuary
Delft University of Technology, the World Wildlife Fund and the Delta Platform have taken the initiative for a Designing with Sediment Lab in the Rhine-Meuse estuary. This living lab, that participates in the Delta Atelier, will develop concrete projects and solutions for retaining sediment in the delta, reusing it and using it sustainably for new forms of nature, living, recreation and food supply. In close collaboration with experts, local partners and students of TU Delft.
During an expert meeting and workshop the results of the preliminary study will be presented and the design of the research program and concrete research questions, possible solutions and case locations will be discussed.
