Most weekdays, starting at 12:30 hours, it's High Noon at the biennale. Today the last presentation of the series.
The Dutch Water Envoy, Henk Ovink, better informed than anyone else when it comes to climate related water issues worldwide, explains how water challenges not only represent complex risks and potentially disruptive transitions, but also offer us the opportunity to use water as leverage for transformative impact; to help us find opportunities for real change, for transformative projects everywhere and on every scale.
A fine example is Water as Leverage, initiated by Ovink, together with George Brugmans (IABR), and Joachim Declerck (AWB and IABR). Its first project is Water as Leverage for Resilient Cities: Asia, which is part of the main exhibition of IABR–2018+2020–THE MISSING LINK.
