Film
We know that climate change is real and there is no doubt that we have to make the transition to clean energy. But what will this transition look like?
On 11 October, AFFR, the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam, will screen Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution, a movie in which filmmaker James Redford goes looking for answers. He travels to places like the world’s biggest solar park and the Robert Moses Niagara Hydroelectric Power Station, near Niagara Falls. The movie gives us a handle on the future. It is not too late yet, there is so much we can start doing ourselves! On the other had, the documentary does not shy away from showing us the social and political bottlenecks of the coming energy transition.
