Cities around the world face the consequences of climate change. In the Netherlands, the energy transition also puts increasing pressure on the cultural landscape. The design program Heritage and Space currently consists of 16 teams that, on different scale levels, are working on urgent energy and climate transition challenges.

On 21 June and 4 July 2018, the Creative Industries Fund NL, in collaboration with among others the Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency and the IABR, will organize two meetings on these issues. The Fund will present the Heritage and Space and other research projects, on the national, on the regional, as well as on the local level, in order for the various initiatives to be explored in connection to each other.
