Guided tour by Thijs van Spaandonk
Co-curator Thijs van Spaandonk takes you through the narrative of RECLAIMING THE COMMONS, a story build on the IABR–Atelier Rotterdam’s long-standing presence in Bospolder-Tussendijken, a district in Rotterdam. On why it’s crucial, when initiating energy transition, to position civil society, along with the city, grid manager, and housing association, in order to assure that residents become co-owners of the transition.
In this tour, Thijs will elaborate on the need to give citizens, the civil society, a position in the energy transition: No energy transition without social transition.
