The Dutch government and the City of Rotterdam are IABR's main partners.

The IABR is funded in the Culture Plan 2021 - 2024 Budget of the City of Rotterdam and subsidized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as part of the Basic Infrastructure period 2021 - 2024.
