This evening, which revolves around the sun, is the second in a series of four publicly accessible evenings hosted by the Atelier Government Architect.

Here Comes the Sun is not only a song with a cheerful and catchy melody, but also the title of the new platform initiated by Floris Alkemade, Dutch Chief Government Architect and curator of the IABR–2018+2020–THE MISSING LINK. Like this biennale diptych, Here Comes the Sun brings together initiatives, innovative projects, studies, and ideas that feature spatial innovation with the aim of inspiring and forging connections, so that we can learn together, and from each other. Because the crisis may be over – for the time being, but we still have to make sure we don’t revert to old patterns.
