IABR-2018-

Note that due to unforeseen circumstances this meeting had to be cancelled

Together with the Veldacademie and AIR, the Expertisecentrum Maatschappelijke Innovatie (EMI, Expertise Center for Social Innovation) presents Atelier-Café #3: Mapping & Making Resilience.

This program is part of a series of four Atelier-Cafés that are being organized during the first part of IABR–2018+2020–THE MISSING LINK. Central to this series are the findings of students from the Hogeschool Rotterdam and Delft University of Technology, who are working together with EMI and De Veldacademie in the Fieldlab Social Resilience.

Today we will be considering resilience from an international perspective. Under the direction of Nicole van Dijk of Museum Rotterdam, experts, partners, students and attendees will discuss the feasibility of resilience. The focus today is on the cities of Thessaloniki, Rotterdam and The Hague. On the basis of theoretical hypotheses and examples developed by 100 Resilient Cities, proposals are discussed that could increase both the spatial and social resilience of these three cities.
